The Advance of AI: A Turning Point for Humanity
Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the way we live, work, create, and communicate. But with this power comes disruption—of truth, trust, and human livelihood.
The Advance of AI
The laws and standards which have kept news and information safe, honest and reliable for the past century are slowly disappearing or are being ignored with the intrusion of Artificial intelligence into the workplace and into our personal lives. AI has demonstrated how easy it is to manipulate news and information. AI has shown us how it can alter original artwork and create fakes and forgeries in music, art and writing, in complete disregard for an artist's right to ownership of his or her creation. AI and automation have demonstrated the ability to eliminate massive numbers of jobs now performed by humans. The advance of AI will produce massive changes to the way humans currently live.
While AI does offer considerable potential to improve human life, it is a disruptive technology that is about to change nearly every aspect of human life. We had better be mindful of this fact and manage the technology carefully through proper oversight, management, training and guidance, along with guaranteed to work failsafe systems, in the event the technology goes rogue.

We Decide
So much of today's information is controlled and distributed by large news organizations and big media, who are promoting their own agendas. How often does a story get published that we have absolutely no interest in, has no value nor importance to us or strongly contradicts our own views and standards? We wonder why it is even in print? This is big media at work, publishing content that it believe appeals to the status quo. At the same time, it raises the question why large media conglomerates have so much control over what we read, watch, listen to, absorb and pass onto others. I am not comfortable with some out of touch media organization that has an agenda, controlling what I read or listen to.
Nexxtgen wants our supporters to offer their opinions and suggestions and provide continuous feedback about our work. We want to encourage comments about our work in the design stages, throughout the development process and all the way through to completion. The thinking here being that people, rather than large news organizations, control the information narrative and decide what gets published for public consumption. It is difficult to change the way people think, but it is possible to change the information people read, rely on and pass on to others.
Taking Responsibility
Over the past fifty years, world leadership has done a terrible job of managing world affairs. Today, our world is filled with conflict, has shrinking opportunities for people starting out in life and we are engaged in fighting pointless wars in too many parts of the world. I often wonder whether humans have done such a poor job of managing planet Earth, that machines have to take over.
Necessity is the mother of invention and our conflict-filled world is a stinging reminder that we had better address our problems on this planet while we can. Humans need to take better responsibility for the problems that we have brought upon this world. No one else is to blame. Humans desperately need to better manage the affairs of Planet Earth and improve the values we hand down to future generations. Nexxtgen Websites is absolutely committed to providing information, which supports better, cleaner and healthier values for the world and for the future inhabitants of this planet.
